Chris’ Multiple Model 3’s

North Carolina, USA

Chris was one of the first to build a track dedicated Model 3. Since 2019 Chris has been one of, or possibly the fastest guy on the east coast with a Model 3. Driving at tracks like VIR and Lime Rock, he was showing what the Model 3 is capable of on some of the most challenging tracks out there.

And if one Model 3 wasn’t enough, Chris went out and built up another one for his wife! He often runs both cars at the same time at the track, which makes for some really interesting back to back comparisons!

Not only is Chris an extremely capable driver, he is also one of the main guys on the forums to offer useful information, and is always willing to lend a hand to help anyone in the community get up to speed. His passion for clean automotive fun is inspiring, and we’ve enjoyed working with him on the beta testing of some of our (at the time of writing) new products. He has helped us test and validate things like our Cooling Party Controller, our Rear Drive Unit Oil Cooler, and other bits that are not yet released!

Be sure to check out his website TrackMyEV.com to learn more about what Chris is up to with his family of Model 3’s!

We need more guys like Chris out there embarrassing Vipers, Porsches, and Corvettes around some of the most legendary tracks in the world, all while being humble and always willing to help others to make the transition to the EV party.

My venture into the world of car modification and road course driving began with a BMW E46 M3 back in 2011. Slowly, but surely it turned into a full track car prepped for NASA GTS use. I enjoyed the car for years but was thoroughly impressed with the Model S the first time I drove one back in 2015 – my interest in taking an EV on track was piqued. When the Model 3 Performance was released in 2018, I set my sights on building a new track machine. Mountain Pass Performance has helped me turn that into a reality.

I’ve purchased hundreds of aftermarket performance parts from 10’s of companies. Without question, Mountain Pass Performance has the highest quality parts, the best customer service, and perhaps most importantly broad and in-depth knowledge of the platform to help fine-tune the vehicle giving you an edge over the competition. Those who have competed in Time Trials and Wheel to Wheel Racing know that it’s not about the most powerful car, the lightest car, or the car with the most expensive parts – it’s about setup. Working with Mountain Pass Performance to push the limits of the Model 3 platform has been a wonderful experience of testing and collaboration. Every part is designed not to only perform well, but to ensure that the comfort and drivability of the vehicle is not compromised – something I value more as I get older. They offer these specially engineered, extensively tested, and no compromises parts at prices that are more than reasonable.

If you’re looking to turn your Model 3 into an even better daily driver, or if you are looking to carve up the Autocross or Road Course, Mountain Pass Performance is there to help you – both before the sale and after. You’re not just buying a product; you’re buying the experience and the philosophy – and isn’t that why you bought a Tesla in the first place?
