We’re really happy to announce that our first batch of suspension arms are ready to ship! They just came back from anodizing and look incredible. The local machine shop that we work with has done a beautiful job with these parts and we can’t wait to get them to all that have ordered. We actually didn’t end up building enough and are sold out of the camber arms. So we’ll have more of those on the way and back in stock within a couple of weeks! Some pictures are attached below. The instructions on how to install and adjust the arms are in the previous post – you can see that here.
In other news, we have a new product in the works – a picture is attached… you should be able to figure out what this is for. Leave your best guess in the comments below! We’re really excited about this product and it should be a very functional and attractive upgrade for the Model 3.
Lastly, we’re making great progress on the coilover development. The suspension manufacturer has started machining the bodies and brackets, and the custom springs have been specified and ordered. We’ve been told we are less than 75 days out now until we’ll have sets shipping to you all!
On a personal note, our shop car was just assigned a VIN#, we’re lucky to be receiving one of the first Canadian cars! With any luck we should have our pearl white Model 3 in the next 4-5 weeks, at which point we will be spending a ton of time doing shakedown and performance benchmarking. Starting to wish we ordered a set of 19″ wheels just for the back-to-back testing against OE tires. Anyone want to lend us a set of 19’s?
Stay tuned, and thank you to everyone for your continued support! Remember to tell everyone how incredible electric cars can be. Don’t be shy 🙂
