Our Cyber Rear Trailing Arms for Tesla Model 3/Y were developed alongside our rear traction arms and rear spring arm to offer a complete solution to the rear multi-link suspension on the Tesla Model 3/Y. Our arm is stronger than the factory arm (an arm that Tesla was originally including as a replacement with the 20″ wheels, interestingly), and removes the OE rubber bushing with a sealed spherical bearing.

If you’ve driven a Model 3 or Y in anger you know the rear of the car can feel floaty and unstable, especially at higher speeds. Soft rubber bushings allow the wheels to move around and steer, which significantly contributes to this unstable, disconnected feeling. Every bushing that is replaced with a solid one moves towards that 100% direct, coupled to the road feeling, and that’s why you’ll find sealed solid spherical bearings, like the ones we are using, in European sports and supercars. These bushings are designed to give all of the benefits of a spherical bearing without any of the drawbacks – no noise, no clunks, and no premature wear.

These arms are the same length as factory. Adjustment in the trailing and traction arms is not necessary, and in our experience when a multi-link rear suspension has every link adjustable it’s very common for problems to develop due to incorrect setup. Some of the problems that can occur are: poor suspension geometry, failing axles and mismatched wheelbase from side-to-side. Our MPP Arastradero camber arms are what should be used to adjust camber, and our MPP Arastradero rear toe arms are what should be used, along with the OE eccentric bolt, to adjust toe.

  1. Daniel Wang

I was on the fence when I purchased these since there is really nothing wrong with stock trailing arms. I truly appreciate that Sasha and his crew have decided to use sealed spherical bearings to prevent any additional suspension noises or squeaks. It is hard for me to quantify any noticeable differences since I installed this part along with the other MPP suspension bits, but I have no complaints. Overall I wanted to be sure I took every advantage of firming up the suspension feel without going all out solid spherical bushings.

Another beautiful product, aesthetically and functionally. When I compare what came off the car (stock) and this, night and day.

  3. RS

This was the final piece of the puzzle to remove all rear bushings in my car, and was a good addition. Further tightens up the rear end to remove any excess play/movement.

  4. Matt Misener

I was floored when I unboxed these as I didn’t know car parts could look so nice. The machining, finish and attention to detail is truly exceptional. Truly a thing of beauty. I installed these along with the traction arms, toe arms, camber arms, front upper control arms, compression rod bearings and lower control arm beatings and the difference in feel is night and day. Really tightens everything up. No more slop, it really feels fantastic when cornering hard. It might be my imagination but I think I am noticing some additional harshness when hitting potholes etc. It could be the OEM suspension wearing out or the fact that I’m running my 18″ tires at max sidewall pressure on the road to lower rolling resistance…

MPP is wonderful to deal with. Top notch customer service. Easy to reach if you have any questions etc.
