Description
Introducing the Page Mill Two-Piece Front Rotors for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y! We’re glad to announce that there is an affordable, efficient solution to the less than ideal factory Performance front brakes. The OEM rotor, while being a 2 piece design from the factory, is thin and lacks the air pumping action needed for a vehicle of this power level. Our discs are thicker, with larger cooling passages and curved vanes to significantly reduce brake fade and lower rotor temperature.
We’ve seen the factory brakes on the Performance Tesla Model 3/Y fade after only two laps, the main issue being boiling brake fluid and overheating brake pads. The brake rotor is the only component in the system that is able to control the rate of heat rejection. The brake pads and brake fluid only dictate the temperature at which the system can function before breaking down, but without increased heat rejection the system simply cannot manage the massive power of these cars! Fade is inevitable when driving aggressively on the track, especially low-speed tracks with a lot of short acceleration zones.
Our rotors take a massive step forward to improving the braking system of the vehicle. When combined with track pads and racing brake fluid, the brake system is able to handle some serious track duty. These rotors are also great for the street – they look the part and the slots in the disc continue to refresh the pad surface and prevent glazing.
These rotors install very quickly, any competent shop will be able to do this job quickly.
NOTE: The Performance 3 is known to have an extremely thin rotor hat. Our rotor is approximately 4mm thicker than the OEM rotor, so this will move your wheel outwards by 4mm. Using this rotor also removes the issue of the hub “step” that is often an issue for aftermarket wheel fitment!
This kit includes the following:
- (2) Rotor rings and rotor hats assembled and ready to be installed on the car. They are directional so be sure to install them on the correct side!

Very high quality 2-piece rotors that can take some serious thermal abuse. These rotors can be installed in just a matter of minutes and both enhance the looks and track performance of your Model 3. I’ve done 5 track days with these since installing them a few months ago and couldn’t be happier. I also had excellent customer service from Mountain Pass during the entire ordering/shipping process.

Function and form?? Yep. These rotors have BOTH. People will notice your brake rotors like never before. Seriously, they will stare. Braking feels great, and these have held up to some abuse at Laguna Seca, Buttonwillow, and my local autocross course. A little extra brake dust attributed to the slots, but no extra noise.
Due to the rotor hat being around 4mm thicker than stock, an unintended benefit is that you no longer need a special hub ring for aftermarket wheels.
Installation is a breeze, you’ll just need an E18 inverse torx socket to pull the front calipers off.

A significant improvement over the stock Performance rotors, the MPP rotors offer improved thermal characteristics, less weight, and they look great too! The rotor vanes were designed with track abuse in mind, the rotors are side specific to improve cooling (unlike the stock rotors), the slots help with gasses from the pads, the rotor ring is slightly thicker than stock, and the rings are replaceable separately. What more could you ask for in a rotor that utilizes the stock calipers? Oh, well they wear really well too!

Great upgrade I already had oem performance brakes on my model 3 so the weight savings wasn’t huge but the Awesome appearance of these look so much better and with the additional bonus of fixing 4mm step on the hub give a better stance

Don’t have the budget to shell out $3,000.00-$4,000.00 on a big-brake kit for the front of your Model 3 Performance (M3P)?
This front rotor upgrade is more than sufficient for your track-day fix!
My 2020 Model 3 Performance (M3P) is a dedicated track car. I frequent Road Atlanta, and at the end of the long back-straight, the stock M3P rotors left a LOT to be desired! Despite running XP12 compound brake pads, Mountain Pass Performance (MPP) Steel Brake Lines, MPP Master Cylinder Brace, and ATE type 200 fluid I STILL experienced severe brake fade on the stock rotors.
SCARY!
After that second track-weekend in my M3P I knew I had to do something about the rotors. Now I’m running these MPP front AND rear rotors (the only rear rotor upgrade I can find on the market) and…
What a difference!
The slotted rotors allow the gas build-up between the rotor and pads to escape and prevent glazing. The curved cooling veins provide more efficient and thorough ventilation. This in addition to the reduced unsprung weight due to these rotors being lighter than stock… I can actually threshold the brakes for multiple laps of Road Atlanta where before the rotor upgrade I couldn’t threshold at all!
I seriously recommend the MPP Page Mill front AND rear rotors for your M3P. They inspire so much confidence in the ability to stop.
And remember…
Regardless of your car’s performance capabilities, it can’t do any more than your confidence as a driver will allow!
If you track your car, buy these rotors!
You’ll wonder how you raced your M3P without them!

The Tesla Model 3 performance is a fast and reasonably heavy car, which means despite the regenerative braking it can benefit from improved braking components when driven in a spirited manner. I have been extremely impressed with the high quality of the MPP performance front rotors when teamed with the MPP braided brake lines and a set of Endless pads for my M3P. Brake pedal feel is greatly improved compared to the stock, and braking performance is much enhanced in hillclimb and light track use applications. The whole package now inspires confidence whereas before the factory brake pad and rotor made you feel that running out of brakes was just around the next corner..

Have used MPP rotors on a few tract day events and AutoX, with race grade breakpads, noticable difference! With stock breaks setup i could only do 2 hot laps on 2,4km circuite, and could feel the break fade, and as a result the stock Brembo pads got cracks and disck had heatmarks and cracks as well. After replacement wih MPP, i now consider to upgrade cooling components for the motors, as breaks can hold much longer then battery and motors cooling system perform. These are perfect for entry level motosport, with enough material to make you feel confident on the track. For more seriouse application and motorcooling parts i would use bigger break kit. Ideal for Autocross events i am participating in. Just dont track your M3 witout break upgrade – period.

After 7 Track Days my stock rotors were warped beyond repair. The brakes were not confidence inspiring at all after the 7th event and I needed new rotors within a week in order to make it to my next event. MPP came through and made sure I had new rotors on time. With the new MPP rotors all my confidence was back and was able to get 2nd place in the SCCA Time Attack at Buttonwillow that weekend. I can’t recommend these guys enough.
