Richard’s Performance Model Y

California, USA

Richard is one of our first customers to equip his Performance Model Y with our Comfort Adjustable Suspension and we’re extremely pleased to hear how much he is loving the ride. How good does that paint look?! Thanks for your support Richard! The Model Y is quickly becoming a strong focus for us here at MPP as it is such a versatile platform. Towing, racing, off-roading, what can’t this vehicle do!?

So after about 100+ miles I can say with certainty: the driving experience is completely transformed. As mentioned in my previous post, one of the first things I noticed was the absorption of road imperfections. While that is still a huge enjoyable improvement, I’m now enamored by the confidence in handling. I find myself pushing the Y more than I ever did on the MYP springs.

We Made It Through 2020

Dear MPP friends, We made it through 2020! It has been quite a year. Unlike any we’ve seen for a generation or more. We’ve been hit over and over again, first with raging forest fires in Australia and California, followed up by so many hurricanes that forecasters had...

Hurry Up And Wait!

Hello dear MPP friends! We hope everyone is doing well in these strange and unprecedented times. As we mentioned in our last blog post, our damper supplier KW is currently in the process of making a massive upgrade to their facility in Germany, which will allow them...

Yes, we took our Model Y to a time attack event. It was fast.

One of my visions for the Model Y when we got it was to take it to lapping days, baby seat, and all. You know, maybe bruise some egos, wake up some people to the potential of electric vehicles in the process. Well on Sunday we had just about the perfect opportunity to...

MPP Performance Model Y Has Arrived! And how to check up on your Tesla’s range.

After a lot of anticipation and trying to do as much development remotely as possible, our Model Y Performance has finally arrived! It was a painful experience receiving an end of the quarter build, and we hate to see Tesla rushing to produce cars. If we didn't have...

Suspension Tech – Firmer But More Comfortable? How Can That Be?

One of the reasons we always recommend people to go for a ride with someone that already has MPP suspension is because it is so difficult to describe specifically how the ride, feel, and performance changes compared to stock or lowering springs. It's much more...

SpaceX Launched Humans, So Let’s Have A Sale!

I can't tell you how impressed and amazed we are here at the accomplishments SpaceX continues to pump out - one after another. It is the ultimate motivation for us to look at ourselves in the mirror and say we aren't doing enough...

Tesla SimRacing – MPP Assetto Corsa Cup is here!

Since we're all couped up with nowhere to go, what better way to pass the time than to race Tesla's online? We took it upon ourselves to learn how to create a car for Assetto Corsa, and we're creating a server where we will have scheduled sessions where the community...
